GAC Motor PH introduces all-new GS3 Emzoom

GAC Motor Philippines has introduced the all-new GS3 Emzoom locally — serving as host for the nameplate’s international debut.

GAC Motor Philippines Brand Head Redentor Cajayon expressed firm confidence on the marque’s latest offering, which was first revealed in its home country in December last year.

“The GS3 Emzoom is the newest challenger in the scene, set to drive the GAC brand to new heights and zoom through Philippine roads with its fierce and sporty character,” Cajayon said.

The newest crossover combines aesthetics, technology and performance offered at an accessible price point.

The all-new GAC GS3 Emzoom boasts a very futuristic design language — similar to what can be found in the Empow and the Emkoo. It wears sharp angular edges, geometric textures complemented by the 19-inch alloy wheels and a body kit, exclusive to its the top-of-the-range option.

Its fore is fitted with a Flying Wing Front Grille matched with Laser-Eye LED while to its sides are arc shadow blades that lead to its light dart tail lamps.

Inside the vehicle are the 10.25-inch infotainment screen that supports wireless Apple Carplay and Android Phone Mirroring, a seven-inch LCD instrument cluster, a multi-function steering wheel, leather seats, wireless charging, air-conditioning system with modern-looking vents.

Other features include the sunroof with electric shades and a power tailgate.

Further, the all-new GAC GS3 Emzoom is equipped with technologies such as hill-start hold control, hill descent control, electronic parking brake with autohold, and electronic stability program. Its advanced driver assistance systems include high-beam assist, traffic jam assist, lane keep assist and lane departure warning.

Propelling the all-new GAC GS3 Emzoom is the third-generation 1.5 turbocharged gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine paired with a seven-speed wet dual clutch transmission — that can dish out 174 horsepower and 270 Newton-meters of torque.

Available in Salt Lake Blue, Graphene Grey, Moonlight Grey, Ivory White, and Superstar Silver, the all-New GS3 Emzoom comes in three variants at the following introductory price points:

• 1.5L GS DCT for P998,000
• 1.5L GB DCT for P1.098 million
• 1.5L GL DCT for P1.198 million
